Ellifrits signs with Missouri State

High school seniors across the nation could sign letters of intent to continue their student-athlete careers in college on Wednesday, in observance of National Signing Day.

Nevada High School senior Sam Ellifrits has committed to play football for the Bears at Missouri State University in Springfield. He was a two-way lineman for the Nevada Tigers team that went 8-3 under head coach Wes Beachler before a playoff loss to Harrisonville this past season.

A re-enactment of his letter of intent signing is scheduled for 2:50 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 11, in the library/media center at Nevada High School.
