Another Nevada High School senior has announced a desire to continue his athletic career in college.

Bradey Denney played running back for the Nevada Tigers football team that finished the season with an overall record of 8-3 under head coach Wes Beachler last season. He was what Beachler called a "once every five years player," and alongside Dalton Hendren, anchored what was a nearly unstoppable rushing attack for a Tigers team that fell just one win short of playing for a district championship with a 35-25 loss to Harrisonville at Logan Field on Oct. 31.

On Monday morning, Denney gathered with members of his family, as well as current and future coaches to sign a letter of intent to play football for the Vikings of Missouri Valley College.

The Vikings finished the 2012 season with an overall record of 12-1,with their only loss of the season coming at the hands of Marian University (Indianapolis, Ind.) in the semifinal round of the NAIA Championship Series. Head coach Paul Troth's Vikings are scheduled to start the 2013 season on Sept. 14, against Ottawa University.
