Nevada football to hold summer activities, camps

The Nevada Tigers football camps are June 24-27, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and July 22-25, from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

A youth camp for players entering grades 3-8 is July 29-31, from 6 to 7:15 p.m. All activities are at Logan Field.

High school camp cost is $60. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, sweatshirt, shorts, and game socks.

Youth camp cost is $25 and includes a camp T-shirt.

Football players entering grades 7-12 are expected to work out through the summer and can take part in the free summer strength and conditioning program, beginning June 3, at the high school. For grades 9-12, weightlifting is 7:45 to 9:45 a.m., Monday through Thursday. Football fundamental days are 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays.

For grades 7-8, summer strength and conditioning is 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
