Murry nabs 9-pound bass

Not even the crazy August weather has put a damper on the appetite of the local fish. This largemouth bass and several others were caught from a pond on public land in Vernon County. Daily Mail reporter Rusty Murry estimated the fish to weigh 9 pounds and said he caught it on a sweet potato pie plastic worm, rigged wacky.
