Nevada swimmers fare well at Seymour
SEYMOUR -- The Nevada Tigers swim team got back into action for the second time this season in the Seymour swim meet and came home with very positive results.
"We swam well and are continuing to get faster with every meet," Tigers head coach Ryan Watts said. "I am very excited to see the team continuing to win and have success!"
Jesse Claypool placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke, Dalton Eador placed first in the 100 freestyle and Jake Asberry placed first in the 100 butterfly for the Tigers. Thomas Prewitt posted a nearly identical finish in the 100 backstroke as he took second.
"The 200 free relay won for the second straight week, which the boys are very excited about," Watts said. "We look forward to continued success in the upcoming weeks!"
Next on the schedule for the Tigers is Tuesday, when they head back out on the road to compete at Webb City. That meet is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
