Middle school football defeats El Dorado Springs

EL DORADO SPRINGS -- The Nevada Middle School seventh-grade football team posted its strongest performance of the season Tuesday night, taking a 40-0 victory over El Dorado Springs.
"The team played very well on both sides of the ball," Tigers coach Mason Heard said. "The defense held El Dorado Springs to zero points and forced multiple turnovers."
Carter Swearingen scored four touchdowns and Conner Poe added one in the contest for Nevada. Swearingen, Will Johnson, Kaden Starlin, and Kayden Ast each added a two-point conversion for the Tigers in the winning effort.
