Nevada High School volleyball defeats Bolivar on the road
BOLIVAR -- The Nevada Lady Tigers volleyball team took to the road again Monday night, taking on the Lady Liberators of Bolivar High School.
The Lady Liberators stayed in the match throughout its duration, but the Lady Tigers were still able to close it out in two sets, by the final scores of 25-21 and 25-13. The Lady Tigers had similar success in the junior varsity match, dropping the opening set by a final score of 25-20, but coming back to take the match by winning the last two sets, 25-22 and 25-17.
Rilie Good led the Lady Tigers with 12 kills and three blocks, while Morgan McNeley added 25 assists and 10 digs. Bree Reppert finished the night with three aces, while Brooklyn Ryan had nine digs and McNeley added four kills.
With the win, the Lady Tigers improved to 13-6 on the year. Head coach Ashley Thoreson's squad was scheduled to get right back into action Tuesday night, hosting the Lady Eagles of Joplin High School at Wynn Gymnasium, but those results were not available at press time.
