NMS volleyball earns second tournament seed

The Nevada Middle School seventh-grade volleyball team finished the regular season with an overall record of 7-2 and has earned the second seed in the Tri-County postseason tournament, which will be played next week.

Head coach Marsha Hooper's squad will enter the tournament seeded behind only Carthage, which took the top spot. The first match of the tournament for Hooper's squad is set for 5:30 p.m., Monday, when the Lady Tigers take on Joplin North, in the auxiliary gym at McDonald County High School.
