Bronaugh volleyball wins pair

The Bronaugh Lady Wildcats volleyball team won a pair of matches at Arma, Kan., Monday night.

Bronaugh defeated Chetopa in three sets, 25-18, 25-11 and 25-13, and Northeast-Arma in two, by the final scores of 25-23 and 25-12. Cydnee Piper led the Lady Wildcats with 14 kills, while Lora Shaw was credited a team-high five blocks.

Courtney Conner finished with 25 assists and Shaw added four kills. Martell Moore finished four kills on the night for the Lady Wildcats, as well.

With the wins, the Lady Wildcats improved to 10-8 on the season and are scheduled to host the Lady Hornets of Hume High School, Wednesday evening.
