Nevada Lady Tigers to host girls' youth basketball camp

The girls' division of the Nevada High School youth basketball program is scheduled to begin on Nov. 2.

The program will be headed by Nevada Lady Tigers varsity basketball coach Brent Bartlett, with help from assistants Jenny Allard and Clay Wheeler. Additional assistance will be provided by members of the Nevada Lady Tigers basketball team.

Fundamentals of the game, as well as team play, will be among the areas that will be emphasized during the four-week program and each participant will be given a camp T-shirt. The program will be open to third- through sixth-grade girls and will be held at Nevada Middle School.

The program is scheduled to start on Nov. 2, with sessions every Saturday, from 9-10:30 a.m., with a $15 registration fee that is due at registration. For more information, contact Bartlett at 417-667-1783, or bbartlett@nevada.k12.mo.us.
