Youth basketball at community center

A youth basketball program will be held at the Franklin P. Norman City/County Community Center each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Jan. 4 to Feb. 15, 2014, for children from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. The program will not meet on Jan 11.

Participants will be divided into age groups, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten; first and second grades, third and fourth grades, and fifth and sixth grades.

The cost is $20 for all age divisions.

Participants will be physically active, learn fundamentals, skills and coordination, sportsmanship and have fun.
