Bell to sign with Benedictine

Nevada High School athletic director and head boys' basketball coach John McNeley announced last week that the list of Nevada High School seniors to sign with college athletics programs is scheduled to grow by one name Friday.

Throughout his career at Nevada, Keegan Bell has been a multi-sport star, most recently asserting himself as a leader, both on and off the court, for the Tigers basketball team. Bell is scheduled to sign a letter of intent to continue his athletic pursuits in college Friday, but not in basketball.

Bell is set to sign a letter of intent to play football for Benedictine College at 3 p.m., in the Nevada High School Library/Media Center.
