Tiger Pit competes at Rookie State tournament

The six Nevada Tiger Pit wrestlers placed in the Rookie State tournament, in Lexington, Mo., March 23, were James Reiff-sixth place, Bryce Koenig-sixth place, Cayden Reiter-sixth place, Blaze Vandyke-sixth place, Michael Culpepper-first place and Skylur Mashek-first place.

Michael Culpepper and Skylur Mashek won their respective divisions in the Rookie State tournament, March 23. Rookie State is a state tournament for first-year wrestlers who hold a Missouri State wrestling card. The winners' names will go on the wall in the Nevada High School wrestling room.
