A Nevada woman was hurt in a Sunday accident involving an all-terrain vehicle.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Christina Hill, 33, was hurt while being towed in an ATV around 6:20 p.m.
Trooper Brian O'Sullivan reported that the accident happened while Amanda Mize, 30, of Nevada, was pulling the ATV behind her truck on 1900 road. Hill was steering the ATV.
During towing, the suspension on a front wheel of the ATV broke, causing it to dig into the ground. Mize's truck slowed, and a rope attaching the two vehicles broke, causing the ATV to overturn into a ditch.
Hill was flown to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment of what the Highway Patrol called serious injuries.
