Arrest Made in Burglary-Stealing Investigation

Nevada Police report that an arrest has been made in a recent burglary-stealing investigation.

On June 8, 2014 Nevada Police responded to a reported burglary involving two storage units in the 1300 block of E. Austin. During the course of the investigation several thousand dollars in stolen property has been recovered locally and returned to the victims.

One subject has been taken into custody on charges stemming from this investigation as follows:

Christopher H. Jones, age 27 of Nevada

Jones was booked into the Cedar County Jail on charges filed by the Vernon County Courts as follows:

Burglary 2nd Degree -- C Felony

Stealing -- C Felony

Jones was being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
