Nevada Middle School to host volleyball clinic, team tryouts on tap

Nevada Middle School is hosting a volleyball skills clinic from 3-5 p.m., Monday Aug. 18, and Wednesday Aug. 20, in the NMS gym.

The clinic is open to fifth-grade through eighth-grade girls. The registration fee is $25. Daily instruction, t-shirts, and snacks will be provided at the camp.

Skills clinic instructors are NMS Volleyball coaches Marsha Hooper and Gail Wilson. Registration forms and additional information about the clinic can be picked up at the NMS front office.

NMS Volleyball tryouts

Nevada Middle School seventh-grade and eighth-grade volleyball team tryouts will take place at the NMS gym, from:

* 3-5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21

* 6-7:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 22, and from

* 3-5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 25 (If needed).

According to information provided by the school, athletes must have a physical on file prior to participating in team tryouts.
