The garden tractor pull and hot dog eating contest will be drawing anyone who loves a good contest to Richards Days on Saturday.

"I've been going ever since I moved here, 43 years ago," Mayor Mary Jones said. "I enjoy the festival because I call this my town. We just enjoy getting together and visiting."

This year's Grand Marshal is Larry Smith, of Metz, who often volunteers to pull the sled during the tractor pulls.

Activities include

7 to 9 a.m. -- Breakfast

9:30 a.m. -- Baby show

10 a.m. -- Garden tractor pull

2 p.m. -- Hot dog eating contest

5 p.m. -- Parade

5:30 p.m. -- Dinner

6:30 p.m. -- Auction

7:30 p.m. -- Talent show

8 p.m. to midnight Music on Main Street
