It's Girl Scout Cookie time again

The Girl Scouts of Vernon County held their annual Cookie Crunch Friday, at the Franklin P. Norman City/County Community Center. The event is held each year to kick off the annual Girl Scout cookie sales. A carnival is held for all local Girl Scouts and friends, then all gather to watch the Cookie Crunch-Off. This years teams were the Guns and Hoses compiled of Nevada police and fire department Brandy Nance, Joelle Mason, Dustin Ballenger, David May, Brandon Leer. Cub Scouts leaders team Jeff Adams, Amber Hale, Kevin Williams, Gary Evans, and Scott Theis. And last years returning champions the Girl Scout Dads team Brian Calloway, Mark Hedges, Earl Higgins, Travis Olson and Jesse Taylor.
