City council to consider home occupation regulation

The Nevada City Council will be considering the first reading of a general ordinance to address the obstruction of joint driveways adjacent to homes with home occupations during its Tuesday meeting at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at the Public Safety Building, 120 S. Ash Stt.

The council will also be considering the second reading of an ordinance approving a contract with Rosetta Construction, Springfield for waste water system improvements.

Other items on the agenda include the re-appointment of Lois Crowe to the housing authority board for a second term and the consideration of bids for a trim mower for the parks department to be used at the Twin Lakes Sports Complex.
