The Nevada Tigers freshmen basketball team fell on the road Friday to Kansas City Center 59-47.

With the loss, Nevada wraps up their season with a 13-3 record.

"We played tough," Nevada point guard Daulton Shepard said. "It was a fun year, and I can't wait until next year."

Shepard said after 16 games playing together, the team has developed good chemistry.

" I think we have a good chance of doing something when we become seniors, because we played really good as a team, and we bond really well."

First year Nevada head coach Blake Howarth said he was pleased with his team's overall play this season.

"I couldn't be happier," Howarth said. "This was a great group of kids."
