Neptunes swim to first place at Tri-State Invitational

Competing in their first event of the summer the Nevada Neptunes captured first place at the 13-team Tri-State Invitational swim meet hosted by the Webb City Cardinals, June 6-7 at Buck Miner Swim Center.

The two day event featured more than 400 swimmers, including 50 Neptunes. The Neptunes are coached by Karen Claypool and assisted by Samantha Short, Dalton Eador, and Thomas Prewitt.

Neptunes High Point Award winners were: Kolton J. Evans, first place in male 6-and-under; Kierston Eador, first place in female 6-and-under; Benjamin Hines, first place male 11-12; and Jake Asberry, first place male 15-18.
