Arrest by NPD in assault case

A 28-year-old Nevada man has been arrested in connection with a Nevada Police investigation of an assault involving the use of an edged weapon.
Nevada Police officers responded to a call of a disturbance with a reported knifing in the 300 block of East Allison Street.
According to a press release from the department, upon arrival, police found an injured 46-year-old male suffering from a stab wound on his upper left arm. A personal dispute escalated into the knife attack.
The victim reportedly identified the suspect known to him and aided the police in the development of investigative leads pertaining to the location of the wanted subject.
Shortly thereafter, the suspect was located at his home in the 1400 block of North Ash and arrested without incident by Nevada Police officers.
Taken into custody was Christopher Lee Blake. Blake is being held on a $15,000 cash or surety bond in the Vernon County Jail on the following charges issued by the Associate Circuit Court of Vernon County: assault second degree, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action.
