NHS golf fundraiser slated for July 26 at Municipal golf course

A fundraiser for the Nevada High School golf programs is being held Sunday, July 26 at Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course in Nevada.

The format is a two-person scramble, nine hole, par three tournament ---- with a 4 p.m. shotgun start.

The tournament is limited to 27 teams and three flights.

Per Missouri State High School Activities Association rules, high school students are not allowed to participate in the tournament.

In addition to the two-person scramble, a contest for closest to the hole will be held on No. 10 and No. 13, as well as a skins game.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Nevada High School boys and girls golf teams.
