Despite the heat the golf tournament was a success

Dear Editor:

Thank you to everyone who played and helped sponsor our Nevada High School par 3 golf tournament.

Special thanks to the Senior Men's Golf League, Larry and Jo Testman, and John Flynn and Len Zoglmann. Thank you to Frank and Pat Arnold for donating the golf towels for all of the winners.

I would also like to say thank you to Coach Chris Smoot and Spike Fogle for their generous donation of their winnings back to the golf programs.

In spite of the hot, hot weather, everyone had a good time and enjoyed the par 3 format. We're looking forward to next year's tournament.

Thank you everyone for supporting a great cause -- the Nevada Tiger golf teams.
