Dixie Ann Stuart

Dixie Ann Stuart, 70, Neosho, entered into rest on Sept. 1, 2015. She was born Aug. 1, 1945, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Arthur Lee and Dorothy Mae (Blake) McConnaughey.

She has lived in the Neosho area for many years and worked at Talbot Industries.

She is survived by two children, Dana Frasco and husband, Doug, and Darren Hughes and wife, Robin; one brother, James McConnaughey; three sisters, Nancy Mashek and husband, Kim, Rhonda Pruitt, and Linda Brooks; five grandchildren, Jordan and Taylor Hawkins, Brandon Dighero, Dalton Hughes and Noah Hughes; and a great-granddaughter. Dixie is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Verlin Stuart; daughter, Rochelle Stuart; one sister, Dorothy Brooks; and two brothers, Dave McConnaughey and Phillip McConnaughey.

Services will be Saturday, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m., at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Diamond Cemetery, Diamond, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Dixie may be made to the American Heart Association in care of Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
