James Lee Hartley Jr., 45, Moundville, Mo., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at his home in Moundville. Jim was born on Aug. 31, 1970, in Kansas City, Mo., to Patricia Ann (Bauer) Pritchett. He was united in marriage to Afton Dickerson on Sept. 6, 2014, in Nevada, Mo., and she survives of the home.

Jim was raised in Kansas City and attended the Holy Cross Grade School and later graduated from St. Mary's High School in Kansas City, Mo. He came to the Moundville and Bronaugh area in 1999 and began working for Pritchett Trash Service. Jim also worked for a time at Heartland Behavioral Services and Platinum Aero Structures in Nevada. He was a member of "Overpasses for America," Missouri 3%ers, Oathkeepers, Patriot Frontier, and Missouri Citizen Militia. Jim was an avid Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan, he loved NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhart Sr. Collector. He also loved the outdoors, camping and fishing whenever he could. Jim had strong beliefs in the United States Constitution and in the beliefs of our forefathers.

In addition to his wife, Afton, survivors include his children, a son, Izac McDermott, of the home; two daughters, Miranda Hartley, Kansas City, Mo., and Jasmine Norton, Mich.; his parents, Patti and Delbert Pritchett, Moundville; mother and father-in-law, Donna and Ed Ogle, Moundville; two sisters, Tracy Frisbie and her husband, Rico, Ft. Polk, La., and Angie Ferguson and her husband, Eric, Harrisonville, Mo.; an aunt, Linda McMillin, Springfield, Mo.; an uncle, Bill Bauer and his wife, Melanie, Parkville, Mo.; cousins, Shannon Sherrow and her husband, Matt, and their son, Eli, Springfield, Mo., Stephanie Bauer and Ronnie Faust, North Kansas City, Mo., and Stacy Boswell and her husband, Tim, Parkville, Mo.; many nieces and nephews; and his many Patriot Brothers and Sisters. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alma and Dick Bauer, and Ethel and Chester Hartley.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, at Ferry funeral Home, in Nevada. Interment will follow in Moundville Cemetery, Moundville, Mo., with a dinner following at Patti Pritchett's home in Moundville for anyone who wishes to attend. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the VFW in Nevada, at 7 p.m., Saturday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
