Man pleads guilty, sentencing scheduled

Anthony Rinker pleaded guilty to child molestation in the first degree, prior offender, according to a press release from the Cedar County Prosecuting Attorney.

Rinker, of Stockton, made the plea on the morning of the scheduled trial on Nov. 19.

Ty Gaither, Cedar County prosecutor, said the state is recommending a sentence of 25 years in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 28 in Nevada.
