Nine Tigers pick up football accolades

High School football All-District and All-Southwest Missouri Class 4 football selections were recently announced with nine Nevada Tigers earning honors.

Coached by Erik Yoakam, the Tigers are members of the West Central Conference.

2015 Class 4 All-SWMO

* Chaden Brandt, Sr., first-team kick returner, second-team running back.

* Tate Morgan, Sr., second-team offensive lineman.

* Jacob Johnson, Jr., second-team linebacker.

* Scott Swink, Sr., honorable mention, defensive end.

* Jacob Hammontree, Jr., honorable mention, free safety.

* Shelby Trotter, So., honorable mention, wide receiver.

* Braxton Shadden, So., honorable mention, defensive back.

* Zach Gardner, So., honorable mention, linebacker.

* Hunter Mason, So., honorable mention, tight end.
