Auditions next week for new CCPA play

The Community Council on the Performing Arts is gearing up for its next production, "Faith County," a comedy by Mark Landon Smith centered around a county fair.

This will mark the first production directed by Richard Daut since retiring from teaching.

They will be holding auditions for the play Dec. 15 and 16, beginning at 6 p.m., at the Fox Playhouse, 110 S. Main St.

There are seven female and two male (or possibly six female and three male) parts to be filled.

Scripts will be furnished at the auditions and no prior experience is necessary.

Performances are set for Feb. 5-7 and Feb. 12-14, 2016.
