Ruth Ellen Anderson

Ruth Ellen Anderson, 68, of Nevada, Mo., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Community Springs Health Care, in El Dorado Springs, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born on Dec. 29, 1947, in El Dorado Springs, to John Wesley Tolle and Elva Thedford Tolle. She married Shelby "Andy" Anderson on Dec. 24, 2003, and he survives of the home.

Ruth grew up in El Dorado Springs and attended school there. She worked at the Nevada State Hospital for 12 years. She was a licensed beautician in Nevada for a number of years and worked in home care until her retirement. She enjoyed making teddy bears and collecting rocks.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Theresa Hamilton and her husband, Chip, Pueblo, Colo., and Rolla John Hamilton, Nevada; stepchildren, Faith DeNucci, Oviedo, Fla., and Shelby Anderson Jr., Branson, Mo.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Tolle and his wife, Shirley, Broomfield, Colo., John Tolle and his wife, Terri, Tucson, Ariz., and Bill Tolle and his wife, Bea, Arvada, Colo.; and one sister, Rosemary Clark, Stockton, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A committal service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
