Chester Harry Dirks

Funeral services for Chester Harry Dirks, 77, will be 10:30 a.m., today, at the Bethany Mennonite Church in Rich Hill, Mo., with Ministers Bruce Dirks, Deacon Arlin Yost and Kenneth Koehn officiating. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 4, at the Bethany Mennonite Church, in Rich Hill. Burial in Bethany Mennonite Cemetery, Rich Hill.

Chester Harry Dirks was born to Henry and Sadie Smith Dirks on Nov. 10, 1938, at Halstead, Kan., and died Jan. 1, 2016, at his home in rural Rich Hill, Mo.

Services are under the direction of the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel, 1301 N. Orange St., Butler, MO 64730.

Contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice and sent to the funeral home.
