Patricia Jeanette Hagemann

Patricia Jeanette Hagemann, 68, Metz, Mo., was resurrected by Christ to heaven, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at home. Born on Jan. 1, 1948, in Lawton, Okla., to Mary Elizabeth Calvert Borgelt, she was raised in Duncan, Okla., and Toledo, Okla.

She delighted in being the mother of four wonderful children and the wife of Buddy Hagemann.

Graduating as an LPN from Grayson County College in Denison, Texas, Patty worked for Mullican Care Center, in Savoy, Texas, as a training supervisor at Manor Care Nursing Home in Toledo, Ohio, and the State Hospital, in Nevada.

She was a wonderful daughter, mom and friend who shall be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Borgelt; her husband, Buddy of 27 years; and a brother, Jerry E. Ward.

She is survived by her father, Ralph B. Borgelt Jr.; her brother, William H. Borgelt (Sue), McAlester, Okla.; daughters, Karen Ebert (Neil), Ashland, Ohio, and Jeanette Brock (Jody), Sherman, Texas; sons, Frank Bateman (Michelle), Ft. Benning, Ga., and James Bateman (Laci), Gainesville, Texas; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and three aunts.

After her mother passed in 2014 and her best friend, De Anna Sellars, in 2015, Patty also reflected on the passing of her husband by saying, "I can't wait to be with Jesus, my mom, my husband, and my best friend!"

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Nevada. Friends may call from now and until the hour of the service at Ferry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
