LD Bud Stoner
LD Bud Stoner, 78, of Nevada, Mo., was called home to the Lord Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016. He was born Nov. 30, 1937, to Lee Victor Stoner and Pansy Loriane Stoner (Daniel).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Victor Stoner and Pansy Stoner; and one sister, Wanda Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lola Stoner (Moreland), of the home; sister, Shirley Berry, Rich Hill, Mo.; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Sally Bauer, Rockville, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Kate Chaplin, Nevada; in addition to a host of nieces and nephews.
Bud was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
Bud was a business man, working in the auto parts industry for many years. He loved playing cards with his wife, Lola, and their two nieces, Sandy and Donna. He will be truly missed by his beloved great-niece, Cierra. He so loved his little dog, Baby Girl. Being a handy man, he enjoyed helping anyone in need.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Nevada.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, at Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, Mo., with the Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., today, at the funeral home.
