Tigers fare well at home track-and-field Invitational

Nevada Middle School hosted its annual track invitational Thursday evening at Nevada High School. The Tigers middle school track-and-field team is coached by Samantha Short.

NMS 8th-grade boys (2nd-place out of 7 teams)

* Kolby O'Connell, first-place in high jump, 5-feet 2-inches; Austin Bash, third-place, 4-feet 8-inches.

* Corbin Eastwood, sixth-place in pole vault, 6-feet 6-inches.
