Ronda Carol Stewart
Ronda Carol Stewart, 62, Harrisonville, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at her home in Harrisonville. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 19, at Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville, with visitation from 6 to 7 p.m.
Ronda was born Dec. 25, 1953, in Harrisonville, the daughter of Pauline Burger Stackhouse. She attended Harrisonville Schools, but moved to Adrian, Mo., and was a 1972 graduate of Adrian High School. Ronda had lived in the Nevada, Mo., area for 30 years before moving back to Harrisonville in 2015. She was a supervisor at the State Hospital in Nevada, Mo., for a number of years and also worked at the West Central Missouri Community Action Agency in Nevada for 16 years. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, sewing and the outdoors.
Ronda was preceded in death by her mother and a grandson, Michael Lee Niles. She is survived by her husband, Ray Stewart, of the home; one son, Jared Michael Dunfield, Harrisonville, Mo.; three daughters, Angela Carol Petersen (Eric), Belton, Mo., Amber Dawn Tracy (Steve), Belton, and Melissa Lynn Dunfield, Nevada, Mo.; one brother, Michael Wayne Burger (Sandy), Lee's Summit, Mo.; two sisters, Michelle Lynn Stallard (Joe), Oskaloosa, Kan., and Renea Dawn Kloser (Jeff), Adrian, Mo.; six grandchildren, Nikki Petersen (William), Allison Tracy, Cameron Tracy, Levi Petersen, Wyatt Petersen, and Brody Petersen; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Sarah Baker; three nieces, Jennifer Swisher, Hollie Kloser and Amber Stallard; and one nephew, Justin Dryden.
