Lady Tigers capture first at local youth hoops tournament

The Nevada Lady Tigers sixth-grade traveling basketball team captured first place after protecting its home turf at the 37-team local youth hoops tournament held at Nevada High School and Nevada Middle School over the weekend. The tournament was comprised of teams third through sixth-grade. The sixth-grade Lady Tigers went 3-0, upping its season record to 11-2 overall.
