Lady Tiger swim team scores victory in Warrensburg
The Nevada Lady Tiger swim team continued its winning ways while in Warrensburg.
After dominating the competition at its home quad Tuesday evening, the Lady Tigers followed up Thursday with an equally dominant showing at the three-team Warrensburg swim meet.
At Warrensburg the Lady Tigers netted a first-place finish, compiling 377 team points. Warrensburg concluded with 312 and Harrisonville 177.
Home quad
Hosting its first and only home quad of the season, Nevada dazzled in the pool, with the quad being held at the Osage Prairie YMCA.
Nevada hosted Carthage, Monett and Harrisonville, besting all three by wide margins. The Lady Tigers defeated Harrisonville 120-38; Carthage 114-56; and Monett 106-58.
Winning individual gold medals for the Lady Tigers, were: Paige Webb in the 200-yard freestyle, with a time of 2:20.53, and the 500-yard freestyle (6:25.51); Makayla Haner in the 200-yard Individual Medley (2:35.32); Megan Hold in the 50-yard freestyle (26.96); Carlie McCaffree in the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.78); Peyton Claypool in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:16.88); while the Lady Tigers placed first in the 200-yard Medley and 200-yard freestyle relays.
