Marilyn S. Spencer
Marilyn S. Spencer, 65, of Bronaugh, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 5. Marilyn was born on April 27, 1952, in Nevada, to Henry Kenneth and Hazel Irene (Miler) Smith. On Jan. 7, 1992, she was married to Michael Spencer in Nevada.
Marilyn was raised in Nevada and attended Nevada Schools. She was a homemaker and also worked at Pat’s Place for a number of years. She enjoyed reading books, crocheting, taking care of her plants. Marilyn enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Marilyn has resided in Bronaugh for the past 19 years.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Anderson of the home, and Glen Fallot and his wife, Heather, of Joplin; one daughter, Kandi Anderson, of the home; six grandchildren, David, Lacey, Cissie, Christina, Summer and Kindra; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Jaqueline Barrows, of Blackwell, Okla.; one brother, Abner Smith, of Compton Junction; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Tayler; four sisters, Patricia Robb, Della Faye Holman, Peggy Peterson and Debra Haines; and four brothers, Robert Joseph Smith, Kenneth Smith, Frosty Smith and Jeffrey Smith.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8, at 11 a.m., at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 10–11 a.m. Saturday morning.
