Frances Lavern Lammers
Frances Lavern Lammers, 78, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, March 11, at Joplin Gardens in Joplin. Frances was born Sept. 16, 1939, in Nevada, to Adolph James and Grace Lavern (Howard) Soukup.
Frances grew up in Nevada and attended Nevada Schools. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Frances always loved getting together with her family and going out to eat. She was also known to be a devoted fan of Elvis Presley.
Survivors include four children, Frances Ann Speak, Granby, Mo., Debra Austin, Nevada, Carol Doody, Webb City, Brendon Lammers (Lacy) Neosho, Mo.; grandchildren, Alicha Friend (Joe), Aurora, Danielle Hill, Granby, Jennifer Fritts, Nevada, Allison Doody, Nevada, Cassandra, Doody, Appleton City, Mo., Brodie Lammers, Neosho, Cassidy Heidrick, Granby, Mo., and Ella Lammers, Neosho; two brothers, Stanley Soukup, Nevada, and Donald Soukup, Nevada; one sister, Elizabeth Laning, Rich Hill; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren Megan McDonald and Graydon Lammers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
