Dean Russell Eaton

Dean Russell Eaton, age 84, of Milpitas, Calif., passed away on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in San Jose, Calif.

Dean was born Feb. 22, 1933 in Deerfield, Mo., to George Britton Eaton and Luella Palmer Eaton. Dean was the youngest of five children. He had three sisters; Virginia, Margaret, Elinor and one brother, Harry.

Dean enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after graduation from Bronaugh High School and married Donna Woody on Jan. 14, 1956. They celebrated 61 years of marriage.

After his discharge from the Air Force in 1959, Dean attended college in Boston, studying math and computer science and was employed in the Aerospace Engineering industry working as a computer programming engineer. Dean and Donna held residence in Boston, Mass., St. Louis, Mo., Bellevue, Neb., San Diego, Calif., and last settled in Milpitas, Calif.

Dean enjoyed photography and traveling with his wife, Donna, around the world to places like Russia, China, South America, Australia and Hawaii.

Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Eaton, parents George and Luella Eaton, brother Harry Eaton and his sisters Virginia Eaton, Margaret Brown and Elinor Bales. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at the Stevens/Davis (Shanghai) Cemetery on Ulysses Road, Bronaugh.
