Shawn Ray Cartwright

Shawn Ray Cartwright, 48, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada. Shawn was born July 19, 1970, in Nevada to Clifford Lee and Glenna Raye (Whitaker) Cartwright Jr.

Shawn was raised in Nevada. He attended Nevada High School and graduated with the Class of 1988. Shawn worked for many years in the family business as a carpenter building homes. He was a member of the Nevada Elks Lodge BPOE No. 564 in Nevada. Shawn loved to go hunting and fishing whenever he had the opportunity.

Survivors include his mother, Glenna Cartwright, Nevada, and father, Clifford Cartwright, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, Nevada; brother, Kevin Wayne Cartwright, Nevada; sister, Angela Haun and her husband, Terry, Sidney, Neb.; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Lee Cartwright III.

Memorials are suggested in his memory to the Shriners Hospital in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
