NHS hosts Meet the Players assembly

A tradition like no other, Nevada High School held its annual winter sports Meet the Players assembly, Thursday evening at Wynn Gymnasium.

The pageantry-laden event featured Nevada High head coaches introducing their teams one-by-one.

Speaking at the event, were: Lady Tiger swim coach Sam Short, NHS wrestling coach David Hawks, Lady Tiger head varsity basketball coach Brent Bartlett, and boys' head basketball coach Shaun Gray. Also addressing the crowd, was NHS principal Will Darter, and AD John McNeley.
