Tiger hoops camp just around the corner
The Nevada High School (Tiger)basketball camp is slated for July 1-3, and July 6 at Wynn Gymnasium.
The camp is for incoming 9-12 grade boys interested in playing high school hoops during the 2020-21 school year.
The four-day camp runs from 9:30-11 a.m. For campers wanting to arrive early, the gym will open at 8:30 a.m.
According to camp info, each camper will receive instruction on the fundamentals of shooting, ball-handling, passing, scoring and team play. Activities at the camp include: Hot shot contest, free throw contest, dribble tag contest, beat the clock and a daily knockout contest.
The camp will be led by Nevada High head varsity coach Shaun Gray, and his staff.

Previous camps have featured daily prizes for campers, as well as a camp T-shirt.
