All seven volleyball players will be key to Hume's success

The Hume High School volleyball team this year consists of junior middle hitter Autumn Smith (5), senior outside hitter Kaitlyn Kaiser (13), junior setter Sammy Davidson (4), freshman libero Karys Crawford (2), sophomore outside hitter Brileigh Rogers (15), junior outside hitter Abby Harris (9), and sophomore middle hitter Brecklen Morrison (1).

With three of the seven players on her volleyball team making their debuts this season, Hume High School head coach Becky Bryant will be focused on fundaments: communication, positioning, and — most importantly — having fun.

"The players have good attitudes and are putting in the work to make improvements each day," said Bryant, who graduated four seniors and returns two starters, Kaitlyn Kaiser and Abby Harris (both outside hitters).

Sammy Davidson will be the primary setter, while Brecklen Morrison will rotate through all six positions.

Newcomers Autumn Smith (outside hitter), Brileigh Rogers (outside hitter), and Karys Crawford (libero) round out the Lady Hornets' roster.
