Thad J. Gordon

Thad J. Gordon, 38-years-old, passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021. Thad was born Sept. 1, 1982, in Nevada, Mo., to Kenton and Teresa Gordon. He graduated from Nevada High School in 2001. Thad liked NASCAR, car shows, and going fishing. He was in FFA and 4H, Thad loved animals and would always stop to pet them. He did not know a stranger and would talk to anyone. Thad always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his parents, Kenton and Teresa Gordon, sister and brother-in-law, Kristi and Branden Huffhine; grandma, Carolyn Gordon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Thad was preceded in death by Grandpa and Grandma Haner and Grandpa Gordon.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 28, at 10:30 a.m., at Pleasant Hill Church. The address is 2600 Locust in Webb City — come as you are and bring your fishing gear.
