Janice Ann Rawlings
Janice Ann Rawlings, 67, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at her home in Nevada following a lengthy illness. Janice was born July 9, 1954, in Nevada, to Robert L. and Louise (Cribbet) Elliott.
Janice grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1972. Following high school she worked at Crane, 3M, and Fram in Nevada for a time. After obtaining her CNA license she worked at NRMC Behavior Health Department for six years, and later worked as a Home Health Care Provider until her retirement. Janice was a giving person, she was always there for local blood drives, enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts, and gardening, and had a love of animals.
Survivors include four children, Aaron Stukesbary, Nevada, Robyn Schmidt (Darren) El Campo, Texas, Jamin Koehn (Amanda), Milo, and Brian Koehn (Holly), Tulsa, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Brenda Harrell (Norman), Nevada, Mo., and Dana Elliott, Mapleton, Kan.; two brothers, Rodney Elliott, Nevada, Mo., and Randy Elliott, Garnett, Kan.; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Robby Elliott.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 30, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Jerod Lamb officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the American Red Cross, or the Leukemia Society in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
