Bronaugh and Sheldon v-ball still looking for first victories

The Sheldon High School volleyball team dropped to 0-5-1 following a road sweep at the hands of Lakeland on Tuesday (25-12, 25-19, 25-5) — though the junior varsity did pick up a 25-18 win.

“Overall, we took this match as a learning experience and have some things to work on before facing Exeter on Friday,” SHS head coach Emily Godsey stated.

Bronaugh (0-6) fared no better on Wednesday, losing to Rich Hill 25-11, 25-11, 25-12.

NEVC BASEBALL DUE FOR FIRST RUN

The Northeast Vernon County High School baseball team (0-3) lost both its games this week, 15-0 Tuesday at Weaubleau and 12-0 Wednesday at Lakeland.
