Jessie Lee Biles

Jessie Lee Biles, 39, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at his home in Nevada. Jessie was born July 23, 1982, in Kansas City, Mo., to Kenneth L. Biles Sr. and Juanita Denise McCain.

Jessie moved to Nevada with his family in 1982 and lived his whole life in Nevada. He attended Nevada High School. Jessie worked at Ken’s Midtown Service Station with his parents and family. He was an avid Chief’s fan, and he also enjoyed fishing, his cats, being with his family, and he loved doing yardwork.

Survivors include his mother, Denise Biles-Codrey and his stepfather, Charles Codrey; two brothers, Stephen Biles, Nevada, and Ken Biles, Nevada; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Biles, Sr., grandparents, and a cousin, Terry McCain.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada. Interment will follow in Welborn Cemetery in Moundville, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
