Robert “Bob” Earl Chadd

Robert “Bob” Earl Chadd, age 65, of Rich Hill, Mo., passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at his home after a long illness. Bob was born Nov. 14, 1956, to Donald Edward Chadd Sr. and Gladys Evelyn (Jones) Chadd in Kansas City, Kan. He grew up and lived in the Kansas City area, most of his life, before moving to Rich Hill. On Dec. 5, 1992, he married Vickey Clardy. Bob worked for Faultless Linen in Kansas City for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and metal detecting.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Vickey; two daughters, Sarah Chadd, Rich Hill, Mo., and Sharon Morris, Independence, Mo.; a son, Jacob Clardy, Kansas City, Mo.; a foster son, Samuel Arevalo, Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Donald “Ed” Chadd, Cheyenne, Wyo.; a sister, Neota Chadd, Nevada, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sharon Louise Chadd.

The funeral service for Bob will be 3 p.m., Friday, April 8, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, Mo.

The family will receive friends at 2 p.m., until service time on Friday, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Bob Chadd’s family with the funeral home serving as custodian.
