Robert (Bob) E. Murray
Robert (Bob) E. Murray was born Dec. 29, 1938, to Richard and Maxine (Barnhart) Murray in Montrose, Mo., and passed away peacefully on Aug. 18, 2022, in Nevada, Mo.
Bob was married to Barbara (Boyd) Murray in 1958 and were blessed with three daughters. They spent the majority of their life together in the Salina, Kan., area and divorced in 1994.
Bob was a Union Painter by trade and spent his leisure time as a musician. Bob traveled to Arizona in 2008 and married Jackie (Roland) Murray in Oatman, Ariz., where they lived together until her death. They owned and operated their small tourist shop, “Fast Fanny's.”
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Beran and Angela (Charles) Cearley, both of Nevada, Mo.; eight grandchidlren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Jenny) of Laughlin, Nev., and Donna (Chuck) Iser of Kansas City, Mo.; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie; daughter, Sherri Krug; parents, Richard and Maxine Murray; and brothers, Rich and Larry.
Body donation and cremation were chosen by Bob with a memorial being held at a later date in Arizona.
